Whats interesting is that MCO also has CLEAR, but those people seem to get queued up in the regular lines, not TSA PreCheck. I'm still trying to understand what CLEAR buys you, since I already did a massive glove-up-butt vetting with Global Entry.
I have CLEAR + NEXUS/GE.
Where there is CLEAR and TSA Pre-Check, you should go through CLEAR first and then go immediately to the metal detectors/bag x-rays in the Pre-Check line. You are escorted right by the TSA folks checking ID's and boarding passes.
MCO and DEN are the places where I have seen even Pre-Check lines with scores of people waiting to get through security. That is where CLEAR saves heaps of time and its never taken more than 4-5 minutes to get through.
Where there is CLEAR + no Pre-Check, you get Pre-Check light. Metal detector, keep your shoes one, but pull your laptop out and any liquids.
I signed up for CLEAR in MCO, seeing the chaos/long lines there for everyone.
Not cheap, but no regrets. ^
