Yes indeed the architecture of CDG T1 is remarkable with its 7 satellites and the open atrium in the terminal building with its glassed escalators. But the layout is really confusing and every single door or walkway or check-in aisle or baggage reclaim belt or bus stop seem to be called "exit". Strange!
It is also probably the only airport in Europe where the arrivals hall is above the departure hall, at least I cannot think of any other examples.

I am most likely flying out of CDG in two weeks in C-class so I thought I should try the lounge...if I can find it.
I have been to CDG a few times but never visited (or attempted to find) the lounge.
I think most of the lounges are in the central building at the top floor but I remember having read it is hard to find, so hoped somebody could give directions. Also wanted to know what to expect.
