OT, I apologise. My sister-in-law is from THR. Her family sent her to the U.S. in the early 80's after the revolution to finish high school before they were able to leave in the mid 80's. She and my younger brother met in university on Long Island. So many sad stories about families that were separated and problems trying to reconnect without becoming trapped, not able to leave.
