I saw my FlyDelta app on my phone updating earlier.

The main new function, I think, is offline mode that <supposedly> stores boarding passes & flight details "from the last time you were online".

They must've been reading FlyerTalk!

Also, some other increased and interactive airport map functionality, including "walking directions to your next gate, restaurant or baggage claim".
