Sweet spots are great. Problem is they tend to get closed sooner or later so you have to be very wary of accumulating miles based on 1 or 2 sweet spots rather than the more mainstream award options. With Flying Club, that leaves you paying 155K and over $1000 for an Upper Class return from the West Coast to London...
