Thanks for the update. That's nothing unusual. All Arab carriers allow you to redeem for family members, you just need to create an account and link it to the "head of the household account". Usually this can all be done online, identical to just registering for a new FFP account and then linking it.

Changing a ticket you probably have to call in. There might be fees.
