I have Silver status with Delta, and am looking to go to Tampa in April with my husband. Most time I fly I get the free upgrade to Delta comfort, but am unsure if my husband would be afforded the same consideration. My initial thought was to book him Comfort, with the hope I would get upgraded as well, but would like us to sit together.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Delta now gives one companion the same upgrade priority as the medallion member on the same reservation. If there is space, your husband would be upgraded along with you to C+ at T-24. All you have to do is book him on the same reservation as you.

If you really want to be sure that you'll sit together, you may want to opt out of the upgrade. Often the only C+ seats left at T-24 are middles, or scattered seats that aren't together. Picking preferred seats now, like an exit row, would guarantee that you sit together.
