What reports of "TSA thieves being arrested week after week"? I have heard of one or 2 cases but this is an exaggeration (and items are much more likely to be taken by baggage handlers - there was a segment on the show Airport about this problem at LHR - a problem that existed long before the TSA). The last time I had anything missing from my luggage was in FRA before 9/11.
