As a data point, I wanted to book a hotel partially using points, and partially paying through my Freedom Unlimited card to take advantage of the 10x offer on at least some of it.
I went through my CSR ultimate rewards account so I could get the better redemption rate of 1.5c per point on the "pay with points" portion, but I used my Freedom Unlimited for the cash portion.

The transaction posted, and under my CFU transactions, it shows only the 1.5x points earned on the Chase Travel purchase, and not the extra 8.5x points.
Any hope that it will show up later once the statement is done, or does anyone know if it would generally show instantly?
