Loved the seat, loved the bed, loved the service, loved the pijamas & slippers, food & drinks were very good too. Crew was splendid, very caring and attentive also with the kids, especially on BKK-DOH.
Arriving BKK we had a little issue: gate was unavailable due to another aircraft stuck there, so we had to park remotely and use stairs. Since I had a knee problem, making me very slow walking down stairs, I waited for Y pax to finish deplaning from front door. Apart from a load of apologies, they used the waiting time to let the kids (and husband) into the cockpit, with also a photo session of them in pilots seats. Kids (and husband) liked it very much!
The very bad part? I want to go to SYD in F now!

Pity I need another big Egypt deal to be able to afford it

Lefly absolutely agree, Sydney next.

Flight attendants were enthusiastic and did a great service. I liked the pajamas and slippers. It was me and one other customer in First Class. A new thing happened - the other passenger boarded and basically stripped to his underwear. He stayed that way - in boxers - the entire flight. flight attendants didnt seem to mind. Interesting. Either way, my flight was good. Flight attendants excellent and kept the Krug flowing. Food options - even at 3AM - were great. I had the appetizer of mezze dips and then a pasta dish. Excellent. Then breakfast before landing. Made to order eggs, good coffee, etc. Again, flight attendants were excellent. They were all Thai and excited to be going home. Overall, to echo others - I really liked the 380 on QR - I just wish the flight had been longer than essentially 5 hours!!
Jason D.C., was on QR830 Sunday, only pax in F.
3 or 4 seats left in Business.
What a great experience, wonderful crew, Krug indeed kept flowing all the time.
Even forgot asking making up the bed, was spending more time at the Bar, I completely forgot that part.
Met 2 other FT'ers from Austria, we had some interesting discussion and lots of fun.
Flight was only 5 hours and 20 minutes, what a shame.
For me the only weird issue was (funny now), getting to the Bar I needed to cross the business class section.
Only regret at this moment, should have booked another one in F, oh well, one more flight soon in F.
