I first read it on an expat site, just for residency though. Then I went to our .gov site and read it there. No mention of exact purpose though. Then I found out that my birth certificate isn't valid to be Apostilled.
So I asked at the Mexican Consular's office. Was told I need it apostilled.
I reiterated that I'm just going for a visit 30-45 days, no business involved.
