There's a YouTube video of the incident. 7 gunshots in the street, and a few seconds later a guy comes through the gates at what I can best describe as a light jog. Dude must have known he had no chance. Makes it about half way through the lobby before he's tackled and surrounded by 5 officers, some with body armor and tactical weapons.

I was there about a week ago... I noticed they pretty much left the gate wide open, whereas when I was there last year they kept it closed and had a guard posted to let authorized pedestrians and vehicles through. Wonder if they'll go back to the old way.
