The one good thing that came after the merger was renumbering of seat rows:

7 as bulkhead and 20/21 as exit on mainlines as well as bulkhead 7 on CRJs and now E7s.

This eliminated a lot of problems with equipment swaps, primarily on the Airbi, at least the times I was on a flight.

Maybe they can standardize lettering on 777 birds @:-)
