I would only book as a round trip only. What good is getting tickets to Tokyo on Aeroplan and then finding you can't get an award ticket back on the dates you have chosen? You won't want to buy a one way ticket ex Japan to North America....big $$.

The school holidays start in Mid July in Japan so flights could get busier out of Japan after mid July to end of August.
