But, the story is.... I have an ZRH - OGG via a whole bunch of places starting this weekend and for various reasons, -too much recent travelling, tiredness, too old etc., I don't wish to proceed. Was just prepared to write off the expense and claim for taxes etc. but on examining the AA refund policy there is a clause stating refunds are ok for changes of 61 mins or more. well, my itinerary has two such changes. My question is, am I able to claim a refund for the entire itinerary, or is a refund restricted to the two legs that were changed by more than 61 mins?

I would CALL AA and tell them the changes are not acceptable to you and ask for refund to for of payment. It il be easier if the delay impacts a stopover, but the CoC does not demand that.
