TSA claims that their Explosive Test Device (ETD) testers are not programmed to look for drugs. Unless TSA has been less than honest then I question how this determination was made by the screener. Also TSA is limited to an Administrative Search for Explosives, Weapons, and Incendiaries.

I would have been asking the screener exactly what kind of search they were conducting. Also, never accept TSA's invitation to move out of the public eye. An Administrative Search is intended to be done in view of the public.
