Why doesn't Alaska ticket mixed cabins?
Example:

YYC-IND one way 05/24 --

First flight is on a Q400/Horizon - I get there's one cabin here
Second flight is on mainline and I know first class is available because the same flight number shows first class if I try SEA-IND.

Is this a glitch on Horizon flights? Why couldn't I ticket this if I knew the first segment was economy?
