Most likely the one you got today was the automatic 1k qualification handle (since they seem to be being sent to most people, and you'll receive another one (the one you requested separately) in a few weeks. Let us know if that indeed does happen (and then we might know how long the mailing actually takes).
No sign of a handle here yet (overseas) - I didn't receive my 1k kit until some point in february (I was gone during february), hopefully it arrives in the next week since I'll be gone for another month after that.
I ended up getting two handles in the mail yesterday. They were the usual envelopes but they were taped together with scotch tape. These must be from my 1K call request on February 16. I got a third handle a few weeks ago in early March, presumably as part of my 1K kit.
