You'll find plenty of late night amusements in the city if you want to club, party, indulge in local specialties or services etc until the Crown Lounge opens. Even just walking around Amsterdam very late at night is fun, you get to see things without the hordes of tourists that are usually overrruning everything. I'd personally make the most of it and then shower at the lounge in the morning instead of just killing time in a hotel.
