I will be moving up to Gold in August and I am thinking about how I can use the QCredits.

Specifically I need to book a return flight in December to PNH from either TLS or CDG. Is it worth booking the flight now in Economy, and using the credits to upgrade to Business in August when I get the Gold Status and Qcredits, or wait until August to book the flight with the QCredits?

If it helps I will also have around 50,000 QMiles to play with.
