- For the last moment travel my advise is to check the airfare inventory as those are loaded throughout the day. For example, right now www.aa.com prices LAX-SYD on March 14 and return SYD-AKL-LAX on March 21 for $ 8,086 in business. Google flight shows $12,899 for Virgin Australia and Hawaiian is actually the cheapest at $5,928.
