My vote's for the Grand Resort... www.grandresort.net. A little classier than some of the other. Two blocks from the beach. 10 minute walk to the gay beach.

As far as Priceline goes... Why on earth would you shoot for the Renaissance? It is waaaaaaaaay off the beaten path! If you're gonna' do the PL thing, do a 3* on the beach... A $50-70 bid (depending on your travel dates) should land you one of the Doubletree Hotels or the Holiday Inn. None of them are even remotely gay, but the location is better than the Renaissance.
