As suggested already, I would look at LAX-TPA for $158+ or, if you can squeeze it in this month, LAX-NYC/BOS for $198+. The LAX-TPA fare can be routed LAX-SFO/SJC-ORD-MIA-TPA. LAX-NYC/BOS can be routed LAX-SFO-JFK and LAX-SFO-JFK-BOS, respectively, keeping in mind that SFO-JFK garners double miles through May 31..
