Today, through the call centre, I booked a business class Kathmandu flight. As always, I asked to request a seafood meal but was told that with effect from 1 March there were no longer seafood meal options available. I thought it was some kind of joke! Existing bookings are not affected but all bookings from now on are. I checked my booking online and yes, the seafood meal option is no longer available. It looks like they have cut other meal requests also. This is yet another example of further insane cutbacks. Thank you Etihad. I know from experience that it is completely hit and miss as to whether the business class menu on any flight to any destination has seafood or not. Well done!!
