How's the Domestic/International and vv transfer process at SHA? One of the reasons to consider SHA is I dislike the process at PVG. It's a real pain. One thing about China is that immigration/customs setup varies so much from airport to airport. I'm hoping even if wrong about lounges that the I/D and D/I setup is better.
SHA is not really configured for international to domestic connections. One good thing about arriving in SHA on an international flight is immigration and Customs clearance is very fast. Every flight every day.
I've never directly transited to a domestic flight when arriving but the JAL website says there is a free shuttle bus every 20 minutes which takes 25 minutes.
