I'm sorry to hear that you avoid EVA Air at all costs. Although I agree that their comfort in premium cabins may be lacking, I think their service is improving. I suggest you give EVA Air a try when Premium Laurel Class is introduced to the city you fly from.
How is Evergreen Club unflexable with their frequent fliers? Besides the high award redemption rates, I find their perks to be quite excellent.
