I just called MP on an unrelated matter (to change seats) and suddenly decided to ask if it's possible for an early upgrade after my flight next week which will get me to 595 CP. The agent said no, and that they only do extensions of membership year for me to get the extra 5 points. I didn't argue much considering I'm still at 545 now so I'm planning on calling them again after my flight next week.

if that still fails...... i might have to make a personal trip to taiwan
