The full extent of the annoyance caused by the curtain can only be seen when you're onboard. The majority of passengers seem to be unaware of, or unable to find, the parting through which you can walk. Instead, they try to draw the curtain to one side in one direction or the other. Even when the press studs are used to fasten it to the bulkhead on the inboard side, people actually bend over and crawl beneath the press studs instead of going through the parting between the two halves of the curtain, which is in the centre of the aisle. Needless to say, all of this disturbs 50J (and 50B on the other side).

It was quite interesting to notice the following on a random A380 seat map. I think that regulars may be learning to avoid 50BJ, 53BDFJ and row 56!

I agree. The curtain pantomime is fascinating but having spent one trip in 50B, I vowed never again. My seat of choice is 51D or 51F, no-one climbing over you, and despite the proximity of the toilets there is little disturbance as these are the large toilets and if people follow the instructions there is little sound.
