Some of my basic AA runs get pricey this time of year too because the Dallas segments get booked up. A lot of people from here go to South Texas for Spring Break, so the first hop is DFW if they're flying AA.

Aside from traditional Spring Break party scenes, you can also run into various NCAA hoops sites. Conference tourneys this weekend, first rounds of March Madness next weekend. When those are in huge cities like Chicago, it's not a big deal. But when KC hosts, it truly jacks everything up for a few days. Getting out of here on the Sunday after Big XII is very pricey.

I'm flying to DCA next week. That route seems unaffected...I have my usual $190 R/T that I typically get if I plan ahead. Guess the Maryland beaches are still a little chilly for Spring Break.
