There's a period of mid February (around President's Day) where a lot of schools are out for winter break.

Then early March through the week after Easter is Spring Break time, but there is no set week. I know where I live, two school districts are off next week, others the following week.

Basically if you want cheap during that time, I would look elsewhere than Florida.
