My wife and I are flying AS for the first time from GDL-LAX in a few weeks and looking at the seat map, every F seat (except the ones we're in) AND every Y seat from row 6 through the exit row is still empty...is this typically an extremely easy upgrade and elite-lite route? It looks like both Y and F get meal service which I think is the only AS route I've seen with a free meal ("snack") in Y...I assume due to competition with AM flights maybe? Hopefully what we get in F is as good as what they're having in coach .

We're taking a break from our usual go-to resort spot in Mexico (PVR) and trying something different...the way it looks now, we could end up having the first half of the plane to ourselves
