DCA-PVG Strategy Question
So here's my situation.
I'm flying to PVG from DCA for a quick trip from April 6-10.
There is current GUC availability from SEA to PVG on both outbound and return.
That's awesome.
HOWEVER - here's my question -
I really want to try and get a seat up top on a 747 before they get retired. There is NO current GUC inventory on either outbound or return.
What are people's thoughts on trying to clear on either outbound or inbound? What's my likelihood of clearing? I'm likely going to book an X fare.
I would be willing to risk doing the wait list if there is a decent/good chance that I end up clearing. If it's very unlikely than I'm fine not even trying.
What would you do?
