thanks, all. i'm going to try to get my name added to her reservation, and see if i can't check in either with her or before her, with my platinum card handy (thanks, SkiAdcock, i don't generally carry it when i travel and would have quite likely left it stateside).

i don't care about points, but lounge access (i.e., breakfast) and possible late checkout would be meaningful to us both!
