Do you mind sharing when your most recent trip was where the AA receipt showed the case amount of the ticket?
Sure, it was booked a couple weeks ago in February for a future trip in August.
If it makes any difference, I booked the flights by calling Citi, and asked the Connexions travel agent to book the flights for me because the AA flights I wanted weren't showing up on the Citi travel portal, but were showing on AA.com.
I gave the agent the flights and dates information; she was able to see the same price as shown on AA.com, and then quoted me the TY points needed to book the flights.
