What's 5cm between friends eh, you'll all be just fine especially as it's a family friendly route anyway. Judging by some of the carry on luggage that is to be spotted being taken onboard, the perambulator could be a foot wider and no one would bat an eyelid for gate checked gear. MCO will not return to the gate but the carousel as you say, but the walk hasn't been too far the last two times we have done it. Enjoy
