Problem seating family together, any booking privilege for Silver Member

Long story short - booked 2 Adults, 2 children and an infant from MCO-LGW next month. Have 15A/B and 17A/B booked at the moment (15A is bassinet). Not ideal to have a row between us, as will need to pass the baby around for toilet breaks etc.

Whole of row 15 available, but whole of 16 booked/blocked, similar in rows 26 and 27. Can't book 4 across Row 15, as that would use two bassinet seats, so basically means there is nowhere on the flight I can book the 4 of us together 2 and 2 or 4 across, with a bassinet.

Similar happened on Virgin last year and they just moved people, BA said they won't do this and they won't allocate 15C/15D until 24h before the flight (which I get, as another parent with infant may need it, or someone with a disability), but is there anyway to reserve it before some random person gets it assigned?

Called the silver exec line and they basically read out to me what I could see on my booking.

Any ideas, my wife is literally crying at the thought of a night flight with us split up on the plane.

Can't even throw money at the problem and upgrade, as booked through Expedia.
