A and B is really easy to do and since it isn't done we can conclude that the passenger behaviour describe above is part of the experience Finnair has designed for you!

TBH, actually cabin FA has stepped up their game in this aspect, kudos. Many times as well they are there at exit row, bins closed and those occasions I take an extra wide smile and say to them "thank you for keeping some bag space for me" and they intuitively smile back with some small words understanding the same second each other. ^
I was previously just commenting about fellow pax. Some of them are just non-frequent fliers and act without understanding, but there were truly some evil-minded looks and talks while I observed what was going on.
I guess there is no remedy. People will always find the way to invent their own well-being actions around their own belly.
Probably I should simply start a new habit of boarding last, then no space for bag, and sitting down stupidly-looking at exit row waiting for FA to come and point out my bag, looking stupidly at her asking "erhm, so? I see no place, what can I do" and wait for her to take my bag to the front lockers. But that is not fair of me towards the FA.
