I have to travel to Milan next month and will need to transit from AC to a partner in Europe. What would people recommend as the best place to transfer (flying from YEG so a connection is going to be needed anyway, so I imagine most of the EU is an option!).

I recall a lot of posts saying FRA wasn't a great place to connect.

Just a shame that "April to October" doesn't actually include April
