If I book an AA VACATION flt + hotel package (per this wiki and aa.com "special fares" info), the EQD is supposed to be mileage based; so a Y or J booking should yield the SAME EQD--yes(?)

I don't know what fare buckets the economy packages typically book into, but I just did a really quick dummy booking and the flights were all in S or O, meaning that they'd earn EQDs at a rate of 10% per mile. On the other hand, business class packages typically book into I or sometimes D, meaning they'd earn 20% (for I) or 25% (for D).
