That's is unbundling of fares for you!

Airline should /could easily
a) Close the overhead lids in business class and over emergency exit before boarding commences
b) Position one FA in the exit row, smiling at passers-by while guarding overhead and watching floor space continuously (in order to offer to stow bags for those who sit in the exit row)
c) arrange boarding process so that they can catch oversize/excessive bag offenders before allowed to board
which would mimimize the impact the fellow apes has on you.

A and B is really easy to do and since it isn't done we can conclude that the passenger behaviour describe above is part of the experience Finnair has designed for you!

Seriously, I've actually seen a) and b) done properly on a CPH-HEL flight. The FA in the exit row was very professional, even did an alternative briefing about exit rows. Once pax were seated in exit row, she stood in the aisle and said authoritative: "Now I need you attention" and did full briefing on emergency procedures in a firm, loud voice. I've never seen so attentive passengers before, a complete opposite effect of the normal mumbled "this is exit row, you cant have stuff on floor and need to follow instructions if emergency happens"
