And even then, AS forces you to leave early Friday morning and return at 7 am on Sunday or, for a little more, 9 am. Who wants to take a 7 am flight on Sunday? Really, I don't even know why they schedule this stuff. I love the AS service and I'm willing to pay a bit more for it, but this unpredictable yield management is making me crazy.

In regards to the SFO-PSP market. South on Friday (when everyone wants to go) and North on Sunday (When everyone wants to comes back). If we weren't more aggressive on these flights, they'd all sell-out more than 50 days in advance. Ever since we rationalized this market it has really taken off.

We schedule it because it sells and sells very well. I cannot help it that demand is so strong that our 'unpredictable' yield managment system wants to take advantage of this and sell up to higher fares.

FYI the most you'll pay is $338rt (YASG), any higher, then coach is sold out and only first class is available at $398rt (FASG).
