For the 00:45 CX flight dp JFK does the Admiral's Club offer anything special foodwise (above and beyond the usual meager offerings provided by AA)?

I'm trying to decide between routing via JFK to HKG or via EWR to HKG where at EWR one can still use the BA lounge.

seawolf is correct. Once the new access policies are in place, J passengers on any qualified OW marketed and operated flight will have access to the Flagship Lounges.

As for the AC question, I don't know for sure. At my home airport (AUS), BA F & J pax get to order any food they want that is on offer for free as they use the AC as their lounge for the AUS-LHR daily flight.
