After my arrival in Australia have a series of domestic flights on Qantas. Is my luggage allowance by weight or piece (assuming each bag is less than 20kg). When I proceed on to New Guinea on a flight from Melbourne requiring a 10 hour overnight connection in BNE is the allowance by weight or piece or ????? Have perused the Qantas website but it's still somewhat ambiguous. I am OW Ruby and EK Gold but assume this doesn't have any impact on my allowances. Am not planning to have a lot but two smaller bags might be easier for me than one!!
