I'm just don't know how you are going to get 3 tickets on AA using 105,000 CO miles to travel SAP to LAX with a stopover in DFW.

The best option that I could come up with is use 35,000/ticket on CO and travel SAP-IAH-LAX. Then, just buy a cheapy IAH to DFW return ticket and make a stopover in IAH on your CO award ticket.

So, you would go SAP-IAH-DFW-
then continue a few days later DFW-IAH-LAX on the outbound
and then LAX-IAH-SAP on the return.
(Note: The IAH-DFW and DFW-IAH portions would be on a bought ticket)

It is the same number of total stops as your SAP-MIA-DFW
then continue DFW-LAX
and the LAX-DFW-MIA-SAP on the return.

Just an option to think about! (IAH to DFW roundtrip nonstop is like $84.00)
