Now when I check, the seats assignments were changed. One adult and two kids are still together, one adult is separate in an aisle seat, and one child (9 years old) is separate in a middle seat away from everyone. The flight seat map is full and there is no way to move.
What is the flyertalk consensus I should do when we board the flight?
Keep watching to see if different seats come available between now and the flight time. Ask at a check-in, ask at the gate, if all else fails very politely ask on the plane. H
However, I think you should call and point out the 9 year old is seated separately and AC should do something about it as I believe they are required to get the 9 year old seated with one parent.
