I'm always curious when people post these how they find out about them and why they're so interested. There's multiple posts a week about some flight that got diverted and people always asking why? Clearly they weren't on the flight otherwise they'd probably know why. I suppose they may have known someone on the flight, but then why wouldn't they get the answer from them? Or if it was an inbound for their next flight, but again, why not hear from the agent then?

Are people out on Flight Aware just searching for oddities and diversions and then they come here to ask what happened?
