A 'couple of hours' isn't always sufficient time...I've known quite a few people to have bags miss connections at JFK with 'a couple of hours'...do double-check with BA at T7, but be prepared to not see your bags at PRG for 24 hours or more. I don't mean to alarm you, but it just seems to be slow between AA and BA at JFK for some reason.

As the days progresses, I am now thinking of taking AA100 from JFK to LHR instead of a BA flight(s).
The AA100 operates on a fairly new B777-300 and I will likely buy business class - this is for summer travel and the prices are good.
I would thus avoid changing terminals and passing through another security check. My preferred set of flights is available with either AA or BA flights numbers for the same price and same earned tier points. BA flight ## earn more avios, though.
Need to decide by tonight.
