You are absolutely correct. I was referring to the total cash amount of the flight that was displayed on the receipt (i.e. the "Flight Subtotal" amount).
Is this a new receipt that Citi is sending out when you book a flight using TYPs? I just pulled up my most recent flight reservation email from Connexions back in December, and my payment summary showed:

I can't go back on American's website and pull up the receipt from there but I know it still showed up as blank or zero in the fare section.
