The statements that you weren't rational etc.. lead me to believe you were throwing a fit because you couldn't get your free drink. Sounds like you went a little overboard and probably weren't being rational. Once you went on the rampage I expect they were less likely to help you. After all having irate guest acting out in the lounge is disturbing to the others.
Not at all. I asked for help (which could have just been 'I'm sorry but you misunderstood the rules. You aren't allowed access because XYZ'). Instead I was lied to (told that it wasn't listed on the SkyTeam lounge finder) and laughed at for pointing out the signage. At that point I intended to just walk away and send DL an email when I got home but he escalated the situation by making false accusations against me when I wrote down his name. His reaction leads me to believe he knew he was behaving inappropriately and wanted to intimidate me out of reporting his behavior to DL.
