Aged 9 or 10 in the early 1980s on a LH 747 flying to Nairobi.
I was on a narrow bodied flight not so long ago when I was mildly bemused and pleased to notice the cockpit door was open for long periods, something I'd not seen since before 2001. Makes these smaller aircraft seem a bit less confined, especially when sitting near the front. Can't remember which carrier/route it was though, possibly Finnair.
